Inverell penned slightly less numbers, with a lift in quality for the yearling cattle particularly. The cow penning remained similar, also with a lift in quality and weight. All the regular buyers attended and competed strongly for most categories. Weaner steers saw a slightly cheaper trend, with the corresponding heifers experiencing a correction of 12c/kg, seeing quality of the secondary drafts decrease. Light steer yearlings saw firm trends in the light drafts, while medium weights saw only a slight rise in trends. Light heifers to feed saw rising trends of 10c, as the medium weight drafts increased 18c/kg. Trade yearling heifers sold to dearer trends of 16c/kg. No numbers of grown steers to quote, however grown heifers to the trade sold to 5c dearer, the corresponding heifers to process up to 12c/kg. Light D1 and D2 cows to process saw a 15c rise, with medium weights to 25c/kg dearer. The heavy D3 and D4 cows saw increases of 28c/kg.
