Yarding– 2104                Lambs–1052                   Sheep– 1052

There was a yarding of 2,104 sheep of which there was a yarding of 1,052 lambs. There was a good supply of trade weights including several pens of heavy lambs and a few drafts of light lambs through the sale. Quality was mixed with some runs of well finished lambs comprising some supplementary fed lambs. However there was also a several consignments that were showing some dryness. The well finished lambs saw little change in the market with trade weights selling from $112 to $185/head while heavy and extra heavy lambs ranged from $172 to $244/head. The plain grades of lambs attracted limited competition. The mixed quality yarding of sheep struggled to hold previous sale prices with heavy ewes attracting the top price of $200/head.
