Cattle- 1378
Inverell penned 1378 mixed cattle an extra 290 head. With the exception of an odd pen of better bred yearling steers selling strongly quality waned again through most categories to result in cheaper trends with all competition affected from subdued bidding. Secondary results through the market affected averages overall. Light weaners to background much cheaper steers 420c to 570c/kg the heifers 348c to 446c/kg. Light yearling steers to background declined considerably 370c to 562c/kg and medium feeders were down 16c/kg 420c to 578c/kg. Heavy feeders gained 15c/kg 460c to 548c/kg. Light yearling heifers to background significantly cheaper 350c to 460c/kg and medium feeders down 7c/kg 414c to 542c/kg. Heavy feeders were considerably cheaper 364c to 550c/kg. Grown heifers to process were dearer 320c to 384c/kg. Most cows cheaper two and three score cows 314c to 356c/kg prime heavy cows 360c to 385c/kg. Store cows 180c to 372c/kg.
